There was yet more great singing last Wednesday as we worked on our Fringe programme. Evening Rise was a bit creaky but everything else was pretty impressive. Next week we will continue with this along with The Long and Winding Road and For Once in My Life (we really must finish these next time) and, if time allows, have a quick look at Wake Up, Lighter than Hydrogen, Evo banke and Leko hode nedo

HYMNATHON - ST GREGORY’S CHURCH MARNHULL (see attached flyer)
Between Friday 19 June and Sunday 21 June, I will be taking part in a sponsored Hymnathon when a number of local organists will be playing all 847 hymns in Ancient & Modern over a continuous 34-hour period. You are very welcome to drop in to the church to listen, hopefully be inspired and even sing along, as your moral (and financial) support would be much appreciated. Marie (alto)’s son, Sam, is working for his Grade 7 saxophone exam and will be giving a short performance next Wednesday at 7.00 at St Peter’s. You are all VERY welcome to come and support him before adjourning to the Town Hall for our usual get together.
