What a lovely evening we had for our Songs Before Sunset on Wednesday, and, goodness me, wasn’t the weather kind? A couple of photos attached. Thanks Julia.
If you are singing for Dementia Friendly next Thursday (28 August), we will be having our final singalong at the end of next week’s practice. (See below.
As well as the Carnival next month, we have two new choir events in October when we will be singing a mixture of old favourites and new songs with a distinctly fruity (or maybe nautical) flavour. This coming week we will be singing Bella Mama and I am a River as warm-ups and hopefully finishing with Gently Let the Evening’s Peace which we made a start on at our picnic party. Time permitting other songs (some new) will be Jug of Punch, Cherry Tree Carol, Gower Wassail and Apple, Apple. Word attached. Please print them out yourselves if you can and maybe a spare copy to pass onto the needy!
