Shaftesbury Community Choir is a member of Making Music. Founded in 1935, it is the UK's number one organisation for leisure time music, with around 3,500 member groups representing around 200,000 music makers.

We are delighted to announce that we have received funding in 2021 from the Wessex Water Foundation. The fund aims to support local organisations and charities affected by the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The money has enabled us to continue to meet virtually throughout the time we have not been able to meet in person.

We are also very grateful to Shaftesbury Town Council who support us financially when we meet in person in the Town Hall through a community grant.
